Statistics: Russia’s fertilizer output rises by 32% in October

MOSCOW, Nov 29 (PRIME) -- Russia’s production of mineral and chemical fertilizers grew by 32.4% on the year and by 7.9% on the month to 2.4 million tonnes in October, the Federal State Statistics Service said in a statement on Wednesday.

Nitrogen fertilizer output increased by 15% on the year to 1.1 million tonnes, production of phosphate fertilizers rose by 7.8% to 400,000 tonnes, and of potash fertilizers increased by 84.9% to 900,000 tonnes.

In January–October, Russia produced 21.3 million tonnes of mineral fertilizers, an increase of 8.6% on the year.
